where education meets conservation
I am a dedicated 17 year old who showcases the remarkable herpetofauna of Botswana through my photography. My work aims to not only capture the beauty of these creatures but also to raise awareness about their importance in our ecosystem. Join me as we explore the diverse and often misunderstood world of herpetofauna, and together, let's shed light on the need for their conservation.
More about my work
My work primarily involves conducting extensive field research on reptiles and amphibians in Northern Botswana. During these explorations, I meticulously document the location and any unusual behaviors of each species encountered. This crucial work contributes significantly to filling distribution gaps and enhancing our understanding of these creatures' behavior’s.
In addition to this, I also study the surrounding vegetation to uncover potential symbiotic relationships between Botswana's herpetofauna and plant life, including the impact of habitat changes.
As I delve deeper into the rich tapestry of Botswana's herpetofauna, I capture each new discovery through my lens. These photographs are available for purchase on this website, with all proceeds being channeled towards their conservation.
In line with my commitment to herpetofauna education and conservation, I offer a complimentary identification service for any unfamiliar snake species you may encounter. Simply forward a clear photograph via Instagram, WhatsApp, or email and I will promptly respond with its identification. Furthermore, I provide a free snake identification course for those keen on broadening their understanding of these fascinating creatures. My contact details can be found at the bottom of this page.

The Black Mamba is an extremely venomous snake that seldom bites. However, due to its reputation people often believe they are aggressive, and as a result they are killed.
These false beliefs included the idea that they chase after people or bite their own tails to roll down steep slopes for a quicker escape.
Southern African Python (Python natalensis)
Did you know that the Southern African Python is a protected species in Botswana? Therefore, it is illegal to kill or keep these snakes without a license.
